Track 4 from 'Behaviour'. Coupled with Where The Streets Have No Name (I Can't Take My Eyes Off You) as a single in the UK, and released as a standalone single in the USA.
Background[]
The band admits to having had a Bobby Brown track inspire them in making a swingbeat song. The subject matter revolves around the general pomposity of pop stars. "..It just lists all these things that pop stars do and then says, 'how can you expect to be taken seriously?' There's the normal attack on any number of rock stars supporting humanitarian causes. We'd ranted on about this for the second half of the Eighties."
Whereas the remixes of this were packaged in other parts of the world with "Where The Streets Have No Name (I Can't Take My Eyes Off You)', in North America, they were released on their own as a single. The remixes were done by David Morales and Brothers in Rhythm.
Trivia[]
- Neil plays guitar on this track.
